Our services range from structural detailing, to structural steel fabrication and structural steel erection for clients in Trinidad and Tobago and across the Caribbean. METAL-X SIGNS NEW MOU WITH YTEPP
On December 4, 2024 Metal-X Engineering (MXE) and the Youth Training and Employment Partnership Programme (YTEPP) signed a new Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) that will further train young persons in structural fabricating and welding through the Afif G. Najjar Fabrication and Welding Institute. This is the third time the two organizations will be renewing such a partnership that has already seen more than 120 young persons graduate from the Training Institute. The current MOU will span a period of five years. Metal-X Chairman Mr. Labib Najjar, welcomed the Minister of Education Dr. The Honourable Nyan Gadbsy-Dolly who gave the feature address. Ms. Thora Best, Chairman of YTEPP also shared brief remarks.
The guests were also able to meet and interact with some of the Trainees during a tour of the workshop and the training room.
The MOU was signed by Ms. Nicole Najjar-Mackenzie of Metal-X Engineering and YTEPP’s Director of Operations (Ag) Ms. Lesha Sylvester.
